Rectangular DAF

Product Details

Rectangular / Horizontal DAF is a dissolved air flotation system for primary wastewater treatment, helping separate FOG and SS and reduce BOD/COD with microbubbles that carry the sludge up to the water surface. It can reduce FOG/SS by more than 90%, BOD by more than 30% and COD by more than 20%, supporting flow rates of 1–1,000 m³/hr, and integrates the Coagulation–Flocculation system and the bubble generation unit into a single platform. The structure can be selected as either FRP-coated steel or SUS304/316.

Working Principle: Rectangular DAF
  • 1. Wastewater passes through coagulation-flocculation with chemicals (Polymer, PAC/caustic soda) to aggregate particles into flocs.
  • 2. Air-saturated water under high pressure releases micro-bubbles that attach to the flocs.
  • 3. The flocs float to the surface by buoyancy.
  • 4. A surface skimmer automatically removes the floating sludge while clarified water is discharged from below.
